WHAT OTHER PARENTS (& CHILDREN!) SAY

Testimonials

The ethos, standards and solid links with the primary school were what attracted us to this pre-school. Having left London, the activities delivered at forest school and in the charming garden on offer were very much a bonus for our active outdoorsy children. We have found that the friendships and learning acquired at preschool provide a head start for children to thrive in Year R and beyond.

My son spent two-and-a-half happy years at the Micheldever and Stratton pre-school.  I can honestly say that he was excited to go to pre-school every day.  The setting is idyllic – both at the pre-school and at the Blackwood forest for forest school. The staff at the pre-school are fantastic!  They are caring and always interested in the children’s development, fostering a nurturing and safe atmosphere for the children.  I was amazed by the huge variety of activities and opportunities for creative play.

I have had three children at Micheldever and Stratton Pre-school over the last 6 years and cannot speak highly enough of it. The setting is wonderful with a bright, large hall, and a huge garden which the children love. The staff are extremely dedicated and get the balance just right between fun and learning. My children have gone on to primary school extremely well-prepared, with great friends, and with very happy memories of their time at Pre-school.

Our son has been so happy at Micheldever and Stratton pre-school. The teachers have been hugely supportive and it has been a wonderful happy and nurturing environment for him. We will always hold it close to our heart. Thank you all for caring for him so much.

My daughter has really enjoyed her time at preschool, she will be sad to leave! But she leaves with confidence and interests that she wouldn’t have had if she didn’t attend this fantastic pre-school! Pre-school has made the transition to big school a breeze for me and I can honestly say I feel confident she will do great thanks to the preparation! Thank you for teaching her all the skills she will use to start her time in primary.

The teachers seem to have an endless source of inspiration for learning activities – all of which the children view simply as play.  My son has started “big school” with a positive attitude towards new friendships and learning, and I give the pre-school a huge amount of credit in this regard.
