CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

We are so pleased to announce that the pre-school has re-opened to all pupils.

Currently the pre-school is operating with staggered drop off & pick up times in order to maintain social distancing as much as possible.

Parents are being assigned a drop off and pick up time slot and a one-way system has been implemented.

Children are asked to wash their hands on arrival and departure, as well as encouraged to do so regularly throughout the day. They are also grouped into 'bubble' groups and will undertake any activities within these groups, after which any toys or items used will be cleaned thoroughly before the next bubble group uses them. All toys, or items that can't be properly cleaned or sanitised have been removed for the time being.

We ask that, inline with the advice given by the NHS, should you, or a member of your family show any symptoms of the virus (loss of smell/taste, a temperature and/or a cough) please self-isolate for the recommended period of time and do not bring your child into the setting until it is absolutely safe to do so.

If you would like more information on the safety measures that the pre-school team have put in place please feel free to reach out to Nicola, the leader, at: leader.micheldeverpreschool@gmail.com, who will be delighted to help and hopefully alleviate any fears you may have. We know that this is a frightening time and will do our absolute best to keep your children as safe as possible.
